Collective Worship
Our students have a weekly Collective Worship assembly with their year group, giving them the opportunity to reflect upon God and their own lives, and how they can grow in wisdom and stature, just as Jesus did.
Worship is planned and delivered by our School Chaplain and our team of student Worship Leaders. Bible readings, prayers, real-life stories, videos, quiet times of reflection, visual illustrations and interactive object lessons all inspire and challenge us to consider how we can each grow in our Christian character and grow closer to God as individuals, as well as growing together as a community.
Each half term we focus on one of our 5 Christian Values and have this as our Core Value. The theme for every week during that half term will stem from the Core Value, keeping our Values at the heart of all we do.
Worship at St Michael's is not only for our students. All our staff members are invited to come along to any of our Collective Worship assemblies. One staff member commented, "Worship is my favourite time of the week. It gives me 20 minutes to sit, reflect and relax, and I always learn something."
Worship opportunities at St Michael's are extremely wide and varied. Click below to find out more about...
In addition to this, we also provide the following:
