Values Development
Every form class at St Michael's has a weekly Values Development session. These sessions are led by form tutors and tie in to the theme of the week, allowing students to dive deeper into the theme explored in that week's Collective Worship assembly.
Each session begins with the form's Worship Leader reading an opening prayer centred around that week's theme. Following this the form will watch an engaging Thought Bubble video, created by Josh, our Chaplain.
Students then open up their Values Development booklet, a personal journal which students can make their own. They read through simple yet insightful explanations of the theme, and answer heart-searching questions. This provides a unique chance for each student to pause and examine their own lives and consider further how they personally can grow in wisdom and stature, just as Jesus did. The sessions then ends with the Worship Leader reading a closing prayer.
