St Michael's High school has a full time Chaplain; Sam Folwell who has created a place for reflection and support for students during the school day, giving pupils the opportunity to explore matters of faith in a supportive environment.
In addition to co-ordinating the collective worship of the school, Sam offers a listening ear to all staff, pupils, governors and parents and works closely with other pastoral staff in school.
Forgiveness Arch as part of Prayer Fortnight
Each week every house has an assembly lead by different members of the school community.
Daily reflections and prayers are said during form time.
Termly Church services are held to celebrate special events and feast days. Day retreats developed to help students reflect on different themes and issues.
