We understand that parents have different needs and concerns and be reassured that if something is important to you, then it is important to us too.
Making sure a student’s first day at school is an enjoyable one is very important to us. There is an open morning and open evening in September every year, so that prospective parents and students can see the school at work and get to know staff.
Parents of children offered a place at the school receive an information pack.
The summer school for new Year 7 students allows our new intake to enjoy a few days in school before they arrive in the September. This is also an opportunity for new students to meet others. St Michael's also runs Fun Learning Clubs during term time and are run after school to allow students to learn a new skill and meet people at the same time.
Our prospectus and this website will offer you an overview of St Michael's Church of England High School but will only ever give you part of the picture so an important first step in choosing a school for your child is to come and visit us. This will allow you to get a true flavour of school life to help you decide whether St Michael's High School is the right school for your child.
If you are a student or parent looking to join us for September or earlier then please click on the documents below which will hopefully provide you with the information you need.
